Info TRAINING (IAFMI): PROJECT PLANNING WITH PRIMAVERA – Principles and Best Practices

ABOUT THE COURSE

PRIMAVERA is one of high end scheduling tool available in the world which integrates schedules, resources, cost, risk, reports and web. For some people, Primavera is heavy and complicated scheduling tool. In fact, Primavera can manage most of heavy and complicated planning project, however its database is so flexible in managing, analyzing and presenting the data and schedule. Primavera requires a structured approach in developing the schedule which will guide us to always develop, manage, analyze and present the project schedule in a structured and systematic way.

This course will show how to manage and optimize the usage of Primavera. The usage of OBS, EPS, Resources and Codes will be managed for the benefit of schedule and database management. WBS, activity codes, resource codes, lay out, format, will be managed for better schedule presentation. Schedule baseline, update, and schedule control will be presented to optimize the Primavera for planning and control. Filing, importing, exporting, dependencies between projects, handling multi-project schedule will be discussed to manage the multi-project scheduling. At the end, an introduction to the Schedule Risk Analysis will be presented.

The training is designed in a very simple approach but you will find the basic principles and a full of hands on best practices and exercises so that you will be able to implement and improve it by your self. This is not only a scheduling course, the planning essential in a Project Management Framework will be covered, and you will see how Primavera can optimize the planning for the project.

IR. EDWIN BADRUSOMAD

 

Graduated in 1989 from Construction Management of Civil Engineering ITB with more than 24 years experience in Oil and Gas Project Management, especially Planning and Control.

He spent most of his career (1989 – 2013) in Mining, Oil and Gas Companies i.e. Petrosea, ARCO, UNOCAL, BP Tangguh  LNG, and TOTAL Indonesie, in the area of Project Planning and Control.

He is currently an Executive Director of IAFMI (Indonesian Association of Oil and Gas Production Facilities Professional).

In addition to his job as Lead Project Control, ARCO trained him as a Facilitator, Coach and Instructor for Team Building and Motivation Workshop for internal purpose. Since 1994 he has been conducting public Training of Project Management.

In 2002-2005, UNOCAL assigned him as a Project Management Coach for UNOCAL and member of International UNOCAL Project Management Coach Network.

The working experience in the area of Project Management and Trainer for Project Management, Trainer for Team Building, Motivation, and Project Management Coach empowered his expertise in delivering the Project Management Trainings, and Consultations. His goal in giving the training is always to transfer the knowledge and skill of the Core Principles in whatever topics.

Latar Belakang Program Training

Sering terjadi ketika perusahaan mendapatkan proyek, pihak HRD menghadapi kesulitan merekrut construction engineer yang memiliki 3-5 tahun pengalaman. Di lain pihak perusahaan memiliki keraguan merekrut fresh engineer karena tidak ada waktu untuk memberikan training bagi mereka sebab proses rekrutmen umumnya dilakukan ketika perusahaan sudah tandatangan kontrak proyek.

Kebutuhan akan construction engineer juga didorong oleh rencana pemerintah yang ingin mempercepat pembangunan infrastruktur. Percepatan pembangunan akan membutuhkan banyak construction engineer.

Hal lain yang menjadi antisipasi adalah MEA 2015 (tatanan Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean yang diberlakukan akhir 2015). Jika nantinya SDM dari dalam negeri tidak tersedia maka engineer luar negeri akan mendapat legitimasi untuk mengisi lowongan yang diperlukan. Tentu ini menjadi keprihatinan tersendiri. Membatasi engineer luar negeri dengan berbagai aturan adalah hal penting, namun ini perlu diimbangi dengan upaya peningkatan skill bagi SDM dalam negeri.

Berdasarkan fakta tersebut, maka program training dan workshop bagi engineer muda menjadi suatu kebutuhan penting saat ini. Biodata Pengajar

Ir Fabianus Endro Kartiko, MM ialah Project Manajer di PT Gunanusa Fabricator dengan background pendidikan S1 Teknik Sipil ITS dan Magister Finance Management STIE. Beliau sudah berpengalaman lebih dari 27 tahun di bidang Industri Gas dan MInyak, especially di bidang Construcion Engineering.

Beliau menjadi kontraktor project manager pada beberapa EPSC projects dengan Client Hess Pangkah Ltd, BP Berau Ltd, dan Total E&P Indonesia. Pernah menjabat sebagai project procurement manager, contract administration manager, Fabrication-Yard manager, construction engineering manager, dan juga sebagai heavy lift engineer.

Tahun 1990 ia ditugaskan 1 bulan penuh di Sofresid Engineering office Paris untuk ikut dalam desain BZZA platform milik ARII (sekarang PHE ONWJ). Tahun 1995 ditugaskan 4 minggu di CP&A Engineering office di Tacoma, Washington, USA untuk desain container crane milik PELINDO II. Tahun 2000 berkesempatan mengunjungi Welding Training Center ESAB di Guthenberg, Swedia, sekaligus mendiskusikan problem welding yang dihadapi Yard saat itu. Berbagai pengalaman di atas diterapkan pada konsep dan materi training yang disusunnya.

As a QC Engineer, you will be supporting Quality Group to develop, evaluate, revise and apply technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production process, production equipment, quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations of Rigid PVC Film manufacture. This will include:

Collaborate with Production group to improve quality performance and customer satisfaction, including reducing complaints, internal hold activity, scrap and process variation;

Actively participate in daily Production meeting to review Quality and Process performance;

Generate necessary data and reports for customers, vendors, and internal departments;

Lead quality initiatives to remove process-related reactive costs;

In coordination with Engineering and Production group, investigate customer complaints associated with product quality and lead the development of root cause analyses, DOE, SPC or 8D programs to produce effective corrective actions and implement process controls;

Analyze data and process specifications to determine improvement opportunities;

Participate in and/or lead Root Cause Analysis focus teams;

Actively participate in supplier quality initiatives;

Has the authority to place product on hold, release hold product, make process changes;

Qualification :

Min. Diploma in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Industrial/ Chemical Engineering or equivalent);

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, but preferably having at least 1 (one) year working experience in the related field;

Excellent project management with analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills;

Strong interpersonal skills, highly organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented;

A sound knowledge of ISO 9001, mechanical/electrical systems, PVC/polymer industry would be a plus point;

Selain itu bila kamu bekerja dengan baik, mungkin saja perusahaan tersebut akan merekrutmu untuk bekerja secara permanen. 

Jangan biarkan kurangnya pengalaman kerja membuatmu enggan dan tidak percaya diri melamar pekerjaan. Selalu ada pengalaman pertama untuk semua orang dan yakinlah kamu bisa menemukan pekerjaan, kemudian menulis resume yang lebih berkualitas nantinya.
